Android Lollipop Is Currently The Most Popular Android OS In The World

If you noticed, at least 4 out of every 10 Android users are on the Lollipop operating system despite the launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS five months ago.

According to Google's recently published statistics that shows how the Android Lollipop (5.0 and 5.1) is now the most popular version of its operating system.

From the report, the android Lollipop version which was unveiled in late 2014 currently runs on 36.1% of Android devices all over the world while Android KitKat which was the former most popular Android OS, is closely followed by 34.3%.

However, Android Marshmallow have recorded a massive popularity and the devices running on the Android 6.0 have doubled in the space of just one month to 2.3% And the number is still progressive day by day as LG and Samsung set to release their 2016 flagship devices which will all run on the android Marshmallow OS.
Remember new updates are still being rolled out on many devices.

For Tecno Camon C8 users who are yet to get Android 6.0 update, you should exercise a little patience because very soon, you will join the league of Android M players.

Though we noticed many Marshmallow bugs on Infinix Note 2 device that got upgrade for Android 6, Google is working hard to fix the bugs with new update rolling out soon. Keep tuned!
