Do You Know That Google CEO Also Uses iPhone 6?

It's a surprising to see the Chief Executive of Google/Alphabet using a product from a different company. If i may ask, what happened to Google’s Nexus devices?

Google's/Alphabet CEO Eric Schmidt was spotted using an iPhone last year and he admitted to the world the just concluded startup Fest in Amsterdam that he uses both iPhone 6s and the Galaxy S7.

While we are here in this part of the world struggling and fighting each other to praise our loved brands, the owners see it as nothing to use products from their rivals.
This is exactly what is happening in football between Lionel Messi and Christiano Ronaldo. The two rivals are friends to each other but their fans all over the world always quarrel because of them.
Even Steve Jobs and Tim Cook once flaunted a Samsung Galaxy S7e. Imagine that!

Meanwhile, having used the two devices, Schmidt made it clear that although he uses iPhone 6s, but Samsung Galaxy S7 boasts of a much long lasting battery than the iPhone 6s

“Samsung S7 is better. It has a better battery. And those of you who are iPhone users (know) I’m right,” Schmidt said.

The above is the complete video clip of the interview and what the man said about using iPhone 6s which is a rival product. So my question still remains - why is he not using a Nexus device whice is a product from Google? Or is he using it as a side chick?
