#Xenophobia - MTN Cries Out For African Unity

The recent cases of Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living and doing business in South Africa has garnered several criticism globally from individuals, organizations and countries. Some Nigerians are been attached in South Africa and it has so far resulted to loss of properties worth millions of Naira, lost of life and injuries.

This provoked some Nigerians to embark on protests here in Nigeria and also send out warnings to some of the big firms owned by South Africans such as MTN, Multi choice cable network (DSTV and GoTV) and Shoprite.

So on there own part, MTN has responded with series of Facebook updates crying out for a united Africa. MTN is using the social media to launch campaign against xenophobic attacks. In their words...

Let us work together for unity and peace. We stand against.
