Android Nougat 7.1.1 Update Now Available For Nokia 6

Nokia 6 Smartphones have started receiving OTA update for Android Nougat v7.1.1 which is an upgrade from the v7.0 the phone arrived with when it was launched two months ago.

The new update has started rolling out to all Nokia 6 devices and the of the update is around 370MB, coming with latest security patch (for the month of April), as well as some other changes.

Nokia 6 was first Nokia's Android powered smartphone launched at the MWC earlier this year. It features 5.5-inch in-cell full HD display protected with 2.5D Gorilla Glass, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with X6 LTE modem and paired with 4GB of RAM as well as 64 GB. Uses 16mp rear camera and 8mp front camera. Its battery capacity is 3000mAh.

HOW TO INSTALL THE UPDATE
It's simple because it's Over The Air (OTA) update. Just go to phone settings, scroll down to "about phone", tap on system updates and you should see the new update. But before going on with the updating process, make sure the phone is not rooted, ensure its charged to at least 80% and finally, ensure you have at least 1gb data on your SIM.

Once you have the above requirements in place, go ahead to hit the download button to install it. After installation, your phone will reboot and the new update will be installed.
