New Nokia 8 Full Specifications and Price, Nigeria, India, UK

   
   
HMD Global is set to introduce high-end Nokia 8 smartphone with official launch date due for July 31. This is coming few months after unveiling the likes of Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.
Nokia 8
Nokia 8 will come with Snapdragon 835 processor, 64GB inbuilt storage, 4GB/6GB RAM which makes it one of the high-end smartphones at the moment. Though, earlier rumors suggested that there will be Nokia 8 and 9 but right now, we are only expecting one variant Nokia 8 at the end of this month. Meanwhile, I have some of the major Nokia 8 specifications to share with you on this post. Read on!

Software & Processor


The Nokia 8 run on Android 7.0 Nougat and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, it is actually an Octa-core (4x2.45 GHz Kryo & 4x1.9 GHz Kryo) coupled with Adreno 540 GPU.

Display & Design


The handset likely sports a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) IPS LCD display at 5.7 inches pixels density (515 ppi), Super AMOLED display with curved 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Technically, the phone comes in 154 x 75.8 x 7.85 mm dimension and adopts 6000 series aluminium Unibody design when talking about the build material. Additionally, the Nokia 8 will be available in four color options - blue, steel, gold blue, and gold copper

Camera & Photography


The Nokia 8 features Zeiss-branded camera with 24megapixel rear shooter and 12megapixel front shooter perfect for selfies and video calls. The phone will be one of the best smartphones for photographers with the enhanced image editing features. The Video recording is at 1080p @ 30fps.

Memory


6GB of RAM though some sources claimed 4GB but we will confirm it when it's finally launched. Then, in terms of internal storage, it packs 64GB to the delight of potential users as it will give you the freedom and enough space to store your media files and apps.

Networks, Connectivity & Battery


As expected, the Nokia 8 supports dual SIM as well as 4G lte network of many bands. Connectivity options includes Bluetooth: v4.0, WiFi: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS: Yes, USB: microUSB v2.0, USB Type-C and to cap it all, the smartphone will use a non removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery.

Availability and Price


Nokia 8 expected launch price is $600 in the US which is about N183,000 in the Nigerian market and about Rs. 32,000 in India. The phone will be available after July 31, 2017 to the general public. So see below for the full specs details.
