Gionee P5W Full Specification, Review, Price In Nigeria And Kenya Plus Photos

What will be your reaction when you hear that a Gionee product is selling at just N19,000? Well, that is the price of latest Gionee P5W smartphone. Gionee is known for producing quality and durable smartphones that are very strong and serve the users very well. Gionee M2 users should beer the witness for this. This year, gionee wasn't as active in the market as other brands like Infinix, Tecno and innjoo except for the mini versions of m2 and m3 and the gionee m5 that have a crazy 6000mAh battery capacity.

This gionee P5W is not really as I expected because it lags behind in some features like the camera and battery capacity.
BRIEF REVIEW
Screen Size
The screen size of Gionee P5W is good and fits nicely into any hand that is operating it. With 5 inches screen size and 720x1280 pixels resolution, it is just good for most of the things you will do with your phone.

RAM
1GB RAM for a phone at that price is just okay. It means minimal lagging and data processing. It will be also good to play most HD games and nice web surfing experience.
Camera
The camera is fairly good but not close to perfect. 5MP camera phones are gradually fading away at this time of smartphones revolution and am still wondering why Gionee used a 5 megapixel camera on a phone produced in December, 2015. Maybe it's because of the cheap price but even at that, 5MP camera phones are now getting outdated. Though the camera quality is not that bad. It's fairly clear.

Internal Storage (ROM)
Yea!!! They got me at this one. Gionee P5W is nicely equipped with a 16gb internal memory which is just perfect and enough space to store your files, music and other documents without even an external SD card.

Processor
Yes this is another feature I look out for in Android phones because it will determine how far you can tweak and customize your phone. Gionee P5W is powered with an octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor which guarantees unlimited tweaking including IMEI tweaking, though you can also tweak non MTK phones but MTN phones are much easier and simpler to tweak without even a PC. So I welcome this phone to the world of tweakers.

Operating System
Another good spec of this phone is the Lollipop 5.1 Android operating system. This OS have an inbuilt power saving technology and other new features plus design that are not available on older android versions.

Battery
Oh nooooo. Why 2000mAh battery capacity naaa? This is too poor and it is unlike a gionee product which is known for massive battery and long lasting battery capacity. I don't know of any other person but as for me, any phone with a battery capacity less than 4000mAh is a no no for me. Anyway, you can still buy the phone if you have constant power supply...winks.
Colors
There are about 6 different color variations to choose from. Colors that matches your skin color and outfits. Unlike some smartphones that have only two or three different colors.
