NCC Warns Against Use Of Second Hand Phones; See Their Reason.

All hands are not equal and that is the main reason some categories of individuals go for second hand and cheap Phones that will at least make them enjoy 80% of what others are enjoying with their respective Phones.

But this week, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) warned Nigerians to stop the use of substandard and second hand cell phones because they have greater risk to anyone using it.

This advice was given by the Executive Vice Chairman of the Commission, Professor Umaru Garba Danbatta at the occasion to mark NCC special day at the 37th Kaduna International Trade Fair which taking place at the moment

He said that the risk and health effects that comes with substandard mobile phones are more harmful than those from network masts and power lines.

He continued...
“Today, there are different types of handset in the market. Some of these devices have been used and dropped in the other parts of the world. Some are devices that did not meet international benchmarks for safety and other requirements,”

For me o, if you should order Nigeria citizens not to buy cheap second hand Phones, then you should make the original and new ones more affordable for an average Nigerian.
