How To Activate Your SIM For Glo 4G LTE Network On Smartphone

Yesterday, Globacom surprisingly unveiled its 4G LTE Network in many cities in Nigeria and on that post, i provided a way to check if the network is available in your state or city. You can check the post again here if you are yet to figure if the service is actually in your location.

Well, having known that, next step is activating your SIM or mobile phone for glo 4G network which is similar to the way MTN 4G is activated.

You will agree with me that glo 4G data bundles are the best and cheapest when compared to what other networks offers.

HOW TO ACTIVATE GLO 4G LTE NETWORK ON YOUR MOBILE PHONE
✔ Make sure your smartphone is 4G LTE enabled or have support for 4G LTE.
✔ Next go to any Glo office near to you and buy a new 4G LTE SIM, get it registered or simply swap your normal glo sim for a 4G LTE sim
✔ After that, just dial *777# to explore all the 4G available plans.

CAN THIS WORK ON MY PC
Yes, Glo 4G LTE works perfectly on PC. All you need to do is connect your 4G enabled phone to PC via WiFi tethering or you can insert the sim on Glo 4G router or any Universal MiFi. Meanwhile, it won't work on a regular modem (for 3g networks)

  6. If you previously tweaked your phone's imei with that of non 4G phone, you'll get that message of not 4g supported. I experienced that with my Infinix Zero 3 on MTN network.
