Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update Is Now Available For Galaxy A5 Devices

Users of Samsung Galaxy A5 devices have started receiving Android 6.0.1 updates over the air. This update is specifically for the first-generation Galaxy A5 smartphones.

At the moment, those in Europe and South Africa has started seeing the update which brings along Android version 6.0.1 to their galaxy device. It's going to hit more devices in other regions in coming days.

It's no more news that Android Marshmallow OS offers some new features including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions, as part of the new security measures, this update brings latest Android security patches on the card.

However, the update might take some time to hit all the first generation Samsung Galaxy A5 devices as it's always the case with OTA updates. But if you are in a haste to check for the update, simply navigate to your phone settings and click on updates.
