Prisma Photo App Now Works Offline On iOS Devices

Prisma, which is the new favorite photo editing app for many android and iOS users have received an update on iOS devices making it work offline.

Latest Prisma version 2.4 is now in the iTunes App Store, and for the first time since the app's launch you're able to use some of its effects offline.

The app is so cool and gives users a very creative artistic outlook for their photos but it received some critics because it works online. Thanks the developers are responding positively by making the editing effects available offline.

How It Works
Before now, the app would upload your image to Prisma servers, then the neural network processing happened, finally sending back to your phone the finished thing. This obviously required you to have a decent internet connection, but many times the app's servers were simply overloaded. But with the offline mode, some of these process are no longer required and you still get the same or even output without your internet data being used.

Brief Stat Of Prisma
Within the short period of launch, 52 million users had already downloaded Prisma app, and 4 million of them use it every single day. Prisma estimates on-device processing to take around 3 seconds per filter on an iPhone 6, and 2.5 seconds on an iPhone 6s.

Android user can download the app from Google playstore while iOS users can head to iTunes store to get it.
