Finally WhatsApp Video Calls Is Official and Functional

At last whatsapp video calling features is out of Beta and officially being rolled out to the regular whatsapp application after so many months of Beta Testing

In a recent blog post few hours ago, WhatsApp stressed out that users should be expecting the video calling features in coming days. Below is the brief announcement from WhatsApp.

In the coming days, WhatsApp's more than a billion users on Android, iOS, and Windows will get the ability to engage in video calls with their contacts.

It is no longer news that WhatsApp is also owned and managed by Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg and one major thing that has been lacking of the platform is this video call but with this announcement, it should be a story of the past.

Meanwhile, I am yet to pinpoint if users need to download the latest version of whatsapp from playstore in other to get the feature or it will 'magically' appear in coming days without upgrade.
