Google To Push New Update To Fight Fraud and Spam Installation on Playstore

Frauds and manipulation is one thing that keeps rising day by day online and Playstore is not spared as developers at one time or the other manipulate installations, app reviews and so on. So google is providing a better security measures to fight against this through the rollout of new update to Playstore that will bring improved detection and filtering systems. Below is an official statement from Google on the issue.

"From time to time, we observe instances of developers attempting to manipulate the placement of their apps through illegitimate means like fraudulent installs, fake reviews, and incentivized ratings," the company says in a blog post.

"These attempts not only violate the Google Play Developer Policy, but also harm our community of developers by hindering their chances of being discovered or recommended through our systems."

Google warned that developers caught doing this repeatedly could also have their apps taken down from playstore store. source

    1. Force closing the Google Play Store is the simplest way to fix random freezes with the app. You can do this by just swiping away the Google Play Store app on your multi-tasking app switcher. Alternatively, go to Settings > Apps > All and then select Google Play Store from the list and tap Force Stop.

Also try to clear cache memory, reboot your phone after that.
