How to Update or Install Huawei Mate 8 Nougat Firmware (B573 NXT-DL00 Dual)

This is a Huawei Mate 8 Nougat 7.0 Stock Rom and it is base on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is also for the International B573 NXT-DL00 Dual variant and am here to show you how to update and install the firmware on your Huawei Mate 8 phone. Recall that sometime last month, i posted that the Android Nougat is now available for Huawei Mate 8

Before i proceed, let me introduce the device in question. The Huawei Mate 8 features an amazing 6.0 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 with 3D Touch display.

The phone packs 4GB of RAM and has 16 megapixels camera lense at the back as well as long lasting 4,000mAh battery capacity. Another interesting feature of the phone is this HiSilicon Kirin 950 giving it a sleek outlook, seamless in operation and faster.

Having known some of the key specs of this phone, shall we proceed to the main tutorial? Oh yes. You are there.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Backup your phone data and applications
2. Charge the phone to at least 80% to avoid stories that touches the heart
3. Read and follow all the steps here carefully.

STEPS TO INSTALL HUAWEI MATE 8 NOUGAT FIRMWARE (B573 NXT-DL00 Dual)

✔ Step One
Download Nougat Stock Rom zip file from the link above and extract it. Open the extracted folder and you will see download folder. Then you will see UPDATE.APP file inside the download folder.

✔ Step Two
Attach your Huawei phone to PC using an original USB chord and copy the dload folder into your Phone Internal Storage. (not inside any folder or SD card)

✔ Step Three
Now go to phone setting and tap on _System Update_, then tap the 3 dotted lines and tap on the “Choose Local Update” tab and tap on the UPDATE.APP file.

✔ Step Four
At this point, the phone will automatically reboot into recovery mode and Rom flashing process begings.

This can take about 7 minutes so relax and wait for the process to complete. Don't interrupt it in any way! After that, your Huawei Mate 8 will boot into Android 7.0 Nougat latest version.

ROOTING OF HUAWEI MATE 8
Once the ROM/firmware flashing is complete, you can now root your phone to enjoy even more control over its features and accessibility. With root access, you can install custom apps, Rom and custom setting in your phone.
