Android 8 Oreo Update To Be Available For Infinix Note 4, Note 4 Pro and Zero 5

Infinix Mobility has released a good news for their fans, revealing that latest Android 8 Oreo update will be available for some of their devices including Infinix Note 4, Infinix Note 4 Pro and Infinix Zero 5 devices.

The update is long overdue because fans has been craving for it. The information was made open few days ago at Infinix Forum and that means these mentioned phones will get Android Oreo update soon this year 2018.

updates will hit users in india and this means Nigeria in particular and Africa in general may likely receive the update soon which will be available as Over The Air (OTA).

✔️ So in a nutshell, Infinix Note 4 32GB+3GB will be upgraded from Nougat to Oreo in April
✔️ Infinix Note 4 pro will be upgraded from nougat to Oreo in May
✔️ While infinix Zero 5 will be upgraded to Oreo in August 2018.

HOW TO PREPARED FOR THE UPDATE
If you happen to own any of these mentioned phones, there are things you should do to get ready for the update. There are certain things that if left unchecked might result that your phone won't get the OTA update but to be in a safer side, apply below steps.

✔️ Unroot your phone if it's already rooted in other to get the OTA update.
✔️ Ensure you have a stock rom backup of your Infinix phone so that you can revert back to the default state if anything goes wrong with the phone in the future.
You can also have a custom rom backup but Stock rom is preferred.
✔️ Then, before updating, make sure your network connection is on 3G or 4G and should be stable
✔️ You should have a good data plan and at least 2GB data available when trying to install the update.
✔️ Also when installing, don't interrupt the process or turn off the phone to avoid bricking.
