Google Introduces Voice Remote Feature on YouTube TV

YouTube TV is an internet TV service that allows you stream LIVE broadcasts from major channels like ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC. Recently, new channels were added including Channels TV in Nigeria.

Now google is introducing a new YouTube TV feature called 'voice remote', that lets you do certain important tasks through voice commands instead of clicking or tapping with your hand, stylus pen or any other input device.

For example, you can use your voice to change channels, play a particular channel, perform forward and rewind operations as well as adjust volume.

It will amaze you to know that a support page for this feature has already been there on Google's website for quite some time now, so it was about time the functionality was rolled out.

Meanwhile, voice remote is still not bountifully available for everyone but with users on both Android and iOS platform reporting the arrival of 'voice remote' in their YouTube TV apps. We expect a total rollout of the feature soonest.

Recall that YouTube is also one of the numerous services owned by Google where users uploads thousands of video clips and live streaming for free.
