On Monday, Sony announced a successor to the Xperia XZ2 and it's called Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium with a 4K display and dual cameras geared toward low light shots. Its interchangeable lens camera has "highest ISO 12800 sensitivity for video recording" and "ultra-high sensitivity 51200 for photos" the phone is basically for photographers who would like to achieve better snapshots even in low light environments. Sony Xperia XA2 With Android 8 Oreo, Specifications.

The Sony Xperia XA2 smartphone is an upgrade to last years Xperia XA1. The device was announced at 2018 CES. It features a 5.2 inch display, powering it is a Snapdragon chipset and a 3300mAh battery.

Announced at CES 32018, the greatest upgrades of Sony Xperia XA2 from the previous model are a slightly bigger 5.2 inches display to replace 5.0 inches, a Snapdragon processor to replace Mediatek, and a much bigger 3,300mAh battery to replace the 2300mAh capacity. Introducing Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, a smartphone featuring the latest Android 8 Oreo OS version. Not just that, the 4.6 inches display screen smartphone is scratch resistant and has oleophobic coating.

Well, I see the Xperia XZ1 Compact as a camera centric device after noticing an impressive 19-megapixel shooter at the back and 8-megapixel front camera. The phone which is also known as Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Dual with dual-SIM card slots comes with 4GB RAM alongside 32GB ROM.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact is also dust and water proof; it can stay up to 30 minutes when emersed in a water as deep as 1.5 meters. It is powered by a the powerful Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor, it supports fingerprint scanner and many other features which are listed below in the specs sheet. However, one turn off is the battery capacity, I mean, am not too impressed with it.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

As you can see, everything about the device is cool except the rugged design, the battery capacity and then, the outrageous price tag. Sony should have done better with the design at least. I don't fancy the look. What do you think.

Meet the latest Smartphone from Sony which is codenamed, the Sony Xperia E5. It is a midrange device but packs some 2016 phone features like android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and 4G LTE network support.

It comes with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory while the camera is 13MP just as expected because Sony phones are always good in camera features. One thing i noticed on this device is the MediaTek processor which is common to Chinese phones like Infinix, Tecno, Gionee etc. Is Sony now diverting totally to MTK processors? Hmmmm.

But when will Sony wake up in terms of battery capacity? They always release phones with poor battery backup. Everyone can't be carrying power bank around now. Why use only 2700mAh battery on this device? Absolutely not acceptable by me unless another person that doesn't perform much task on his phone.
