Gionee have launched the marathon M3 mini; the smaller version of gionee marathon M3 just as the way the with gionee M2 mini sometime ago but this m3 mini has a more powerful and better battery capacity of 4000mAh unlike the gionee marathon M2 mini which have a 3000mAh (which is not bad anyway). M3 mini is powered with a quad-core MTK processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory using a 4.5 inches display which makes it sleek and portable in the hand.   4. Could someone recommend me Gionee m3, it is cheap and it is main plus for me. I probably want buy used one here- https://jiji.ng/mobile-phones/gionee-marathon-m3 now i'm trying to buy cheap phones for my children, my budget tis tight. Is it quite normal first android low-budget phone for children?

  5. I've bought this phone 2 days back. Your reviews are spot on. Gionee's Amigo UI pretty much makes this phone zoom lag and it's a memory hog. In my case, only 240MB or something was remaining by default out of 1 GB memory. You can remove apps so as to reclaim memory. The build quality is far better than micromax (Canvas nitro and ilk) and such brands. Besides, Gionee's M2 model has a steady sales indicating those who wants cheap and reliable android kitkat, will go for M2 or M3. Overall satisfied. I know, it's very early to predict.
    One thing I'd like to know is, there are some apps which cannot be removed from this phone. Do you have any recommendation to strip the phone to minimum and use default android ui?
