Both phone sports a 5.5-inch HD screentouch display size with same screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and same pixel density of 401 PPI but the Phantom 6 uses IPS screen with 16,000000 while Gionee M6 uses Amoled display with same 16,000000 colors.

Both phones are fully designed with metal clads and while Phantom 6 dimension is 151.5 x 75.5 x 6.15mm, Gionee M6 is just slightly larger with 152.3 x 75.3 x 8.2mm. This is caused by the bigger battery available in the M6.

Both phones supports 2G, 3G and 4G networks. They also support dual micro SIM cards and the SIM are located via the tray by the side of the phones. Meaning, you don't need to open the case when inserting or swapping a SIM, just use the tray unlock pin to open. It's plug and play for both phones.

Both phones comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed and they uses same processor (2.0GHz Octa-core CPU, MediaTek Helio P10) which happens to be a battery saving chipset. But in terms of GPU, Phantom 6 uses PowerVR G6200 while Gionee M6 uses Mali T860MP2.

This is one of the departments where Gionee M6 has upper hand as it packs 4GB RAM coupled with huge 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated sd card slot while the Phantom 6 has 3GB RAM together with 32GB of internal storage.

In terms of camera, both Phantom 6 and Gionee M6 have similar specs as they pack 13MP and 8MP at back and in the front respectively. They also shoot video at same level i.e 1080p@30fps.
But overall, Gionee M6 seems to have more better photo enhancing features like the screen flash for selfies.

Meanwhile, Gionee M6 supports Infrared (IR blaster) which allows you to use the phone as a remote controller to operate your TV, DVD, electronic fans, Washing machines and other electronic devices that makes use of remote control.

As expected, Gionee has the edge here with a massive 5000mAh battery capacity coupled with fast charging technology while the Phantom 6 uses a poor battery of just 2700mAh. Both battery are non-removable.

Now here comes the most controversial aspect of both Smartphones. Some people think that Gionee M6 is way to expensive at N120,000 others think the specs worth it. Remember that the Phantom 6 cost N90,000 but when you consider the bigger memory capacity and more importantly, the battery differences, you will understand why Gionee M6 costs more.
