It is difficult now to find a user, who didn't root their Android device. People who tried the rooting feel satisfied with the changes implemented. Root access brings you thousands of opportunities.

Rooting is easy if you use specialized apps. This article discovers ways to perform the rooting without PC and do it successfully.

Preparation Before Rooting

Before making any modifications to your phone, you should prepare the device. The first thing you should do is – back up your data.

Rooting erases all the data from your memory. All your photos, videos, contact lists, texts and all the apps data will be lost. Thus, you have to do the backup.

Transfer all your files to your PC. Or you can use any cloud storage you like.

Secondly, charge your battery. Rooting takes time. While being rooted your phone will be implementing many processes simultaneously. The battery has to be fully, or at least 75% charged to maintain the work of your smartphone.

Thirdly, make sure stable connection to the Internet is established.

Rooting Without PC

There are specialized apps, which will help you root your smartphone without the computer. Here is the brief overview of them.

>>> One Click Root

This app can help you root almost any Android device you own. Their website contains information on what devices can be rooted with the One Click Root. Check for your phone's model.

Download and install the app. Click on "root device" button. Scan your device with the app to make sure your device is compatible with the software. When the scan is over, select "root device" one more time.

Your phone is rooted.

To continue installation, go to settings of your phone. From there go to Security. Here allow the installation from unknown sources.

After the app is installed, launch it. Wait till the application checks whether it is compatible with your phone model. If it's compatible, proceed to root.

>>> Framaroot

Another rooting app with the help of which you can root your device without a PC is Framaroot. Download the app and check whether it can root your device. Select one of the actions available. If you want to root your device, click on "install SuperUser."

The Framaroot apps also provided step-by-step instructions on rooting. You won't get confused throughout the process.

>>> Safe-Root.

Once the rooting is over, you should check whether it is performed successfully. You don't need to go to settings to find out if your device is rooted. Root access is difficult to spot.

To check whether the rooting was successful, you need to install the special app. Go to Google Play and find Root Checker. Install the app and click on "verify the root." The app will then examine the system of your phone and tell you whether the rooting was successful or not.

Protect Your Phone From Malware

Once rooted, your phone is vulnerable to malware. Make sure to install antivirus apps and manage SuperUser rights wisely.

When apps make requests for root-level access, think twice before clicking on allow. If the software seems suspicious, don't allow the access.
