SAD: Glo Reduce Monthly Data Plan (N1000 for 2GB, N2000 for 4.5GB)

I don't know whether it's recession or what but the information I got late last night was that Glo has reduced the data volume allocated to their monthly data plans.

I confirmed it this morning when I dialed *777# to buy a data for my kid brother. According to the message displayed on the screen;
This plans are for new customers and for renewals
1. N1000 = 2GB 30 days
2. N2000 = 4.5GB 30 days
3. N2500 = 7.2GB 30 days
4. More plans
5. Special Data Offer
6. Infos

As you can see, the popular Glo N1000 for 3.2GB plan is now reduced to just 2GB for same price and duration.
Glo reduced data plans
Although, as at this morning, some people testified that they were given 3.2GB while some said they got 4GB for N1000 and others said they got 2GB for N1000. I don't really know whom to believe for now but all I know is that Globacom has reduced the plans and it's a matter of time before the new change gets to all customers.

Though they are still better than MTN and Airtel who gives 1.5GB for N1000 and 9Mobile who gives just 1GB for N1000.

So what do you think about this development?

Well its all good sha, to us using Glo, a little loaf is better than non they says, well for those of them that claimed they got data above the stated price above, i will say they were lucky, probably Glo system is yet to recognized the official changes, i know that definitely they will surely rectify it, that is, if it turns out to be a system error..
