Infinix Hot 4 X557 was released last week after few months when Infinix Hot 3 X554 was launched. Having seen both devices and checked their features, I think it's right time to "compare" their specs and price.
The two Smartphones possesses almost the same Specification but with slight difference in some areas and after reading this post, you will clearly see the difference and make a confident decision on which one to go for assuming you are confused on which one to buy.

Smartphone display size is one of the first feature phone users look at before checking other Specs. Having said that, both phones sports a 5.5 inch screen but the Hot 4 has a slightly smaller resolution at 720 x 1280 while the Hot 3 boasts of 1080 x1920 resolution. Although both features same PPI at 267 (not too good)
PROCESSOR
Both phones are powered by the same type of processor which is MediaTek MT6580 64-bit Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 using the same 64-bit
RAM
While Infinix Hot 4 comes with 2GB RAM, the hot 3 comes with 1GB RAM although the other variant of the same phone packs a 2GB RAM as well. Random Access Memory is a very vital Spec while planning to buy a phone. If you really want to enjoy seamless and non hanging phone, kindly go for devices with at least 2GB RAM or above. The higher the RAM of a phone or PC, the faster the device.
INTERNAL STORAGE
Infinix Hot 3 defeated the Hot 4 in this one as it boasts of 32GB of Internal storage while the Hot 4 languishes with a 16GB storage but the good news is both devices can be upgraded to 64GB with an external SD card
PLATFORM
Another area that the Hot 4 lagged behind is the version of Android Operating System as it comes with Android Lollipop while the Hot 3 features Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Additionally, the Hot 4 uses the older infinix XUI while Hot 3 uses latest XOS
CAMERA
Lately many Smartphones companies decided to produce some camera centric devices. For instance, the Tecno Camon C8 and Camon C9 devices. But sadly, neither Infinix Hot 4 nor Hot 3 boasts of a powerful camera as they manage the 8MP lens at the back plus 5MP and 2MP front shooter respectively.
4G LITE
Unfortunately both devices disappointed 😞 with no trace of 4G support. However, the LTE version of Infinix Hot 3 has 4G support.
FINGERPRINT SCANNER
If you noticed, you will agree with me that almost all the latest Smartphone now features the fingerprint scanner as it enhances security and other web base activities that requires it. While the Hot 4 supports Fingerprints, Infinix hot 3 lacked that useful feature. Awww!
BATTERY CAPACITY
Here is yet another important spec you shouldn't play with while ordering for a new phone especially when residing in a country with epileptic power supply. Battery strength of a smartphone is very important and the two devices tried with good battery backup although the hot 3 has the upper hand as it packs a 4000mAh battery capacity while hot 4 uses a 3000mAh battery Spec which isn't bad after all.
PRICE
Now here is where the whole thing becomes controversial. Infinix Hot 4 is priced at N36,900 (16 GB version) while the Hot 3 is priced at N29,000
