COMPARING THE TWO PHONES: LENOVO K5 VS LENOVO K5 PLAY

Both devices has the same screen size but the K5 Play comes with a higher Android version which is Android 8 Oreo while K5 comes with Android 7.1 Nougat. Both phones features dual camera setup but the K5 slightly overpowered the later here. They both uses same battery capacity, same RAM etc. You can see more information above.

Lenovo Moto Tab With Direct TV Specifications and Price

Lenovo has launched the convertible 10 inch Moto Tablet with 4G LTE support and a fingerprint sensor. The Lenovo Moto tab has TV Mode which means you can stream video via DIRECTV anywhere once there is a network.

Lenovo K8 Plus Phone Specifications and Price in Nigeria, India

Lenovo K8 Plus is an upgrade to Lenovo K8 in my previous post and costs slightly higher. The K8 Plus has better front camera, better display, better processor and better memory options. These are the main differences between Lenovo K8 and Lenovo K8 Plus.

The K8 Plus is powered by MediaTek's MT6757 Helio P25 SOCs. It comes with two memory options or variants as you may call it. It has 3/4 GB RAM options but both has same 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via an external SDcard. Checkout the other specs and price below;

How will you feel if you can bend or fold your laptop just like a newspaper? Well, you can call it bendable, foldable or even rollable Laptop but the latest tech gist trending now is that Lenovo, a Chinese consumer electronics company is planning on producing bendable Laptops.

At an event in New York today, the company showed off its idea of the future of "personal computing" with an image of a bendable laptop with a flexible display; a built-in keyboard; and even the signature ThinkPad pointing stick, or mouse nub — whatever you want to call it. With this concept, most of the interaction would happen over voice commands or a stylus. Lenovo says that this concept would be achieved through “advanced materials” and “new screen technologies.” That’s not very specific.

Now let me make it clearer, the laptop won't have hinges. It's just plain and foldable. Just as a piece of paper or cardboard sheet. I hope you get the concept now. Well, while the rest of the world are still anxiously waiting for the release of foldable phones as highlighted two years ago, Lenovo could surprise us by making it realistic with a Lappy.

Meanwhile, if you are wondering why there is no trackpad, well, the laptop offers 3 other means of input. There’s the standard touch screen, a stylus or pencil, and voice input — the voice input will allow you to completely control the laptop. Amazing right?

Note that this device is not yet realized or available as it's still a concept waiting to be put into practice. But trust our Chinese tech gurus, they can make this happen soon.

Lenovo A858W is a very affordable 4G LTE Android smartphone that is now available in the phone stores across the country. Although you have to accept some shortcomings on this device. That's the big price to pay for the cheap phone.

What do I mean, in essence, you need to act as if you didn't see the poor battery capacity. You shouldn't also expect to store so many files or multimedia contents on this phone because of its low storage space.

In 2017 when others are upgrading to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and 7.0 Nougat OS, you will need to settle for just Android 4.1 Kitkat. That's the reward for cheap stuffs 😁

Lenovo ZUK Edge Price in China, Nigeria, India | Specifications

Lenovo has officially launched the "ZUK Edge" with slim bezels powered by Snapdragon 821 chip, Adreno 530 GPU and uses 4GB and 6GB RAM respectively for the two variants and 64GB of UFS 2.0 internal storage.

Lenovo ZUK Edge features 5.5" display size covered with a 2.5D curved glass. The fingerprint scanner is placed just beneath the display which can unlock the device in just 0.09 seconds according to the company.

In the camera department, the device packs 13MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus f/2.2 aperture and 1.34μm pixel size. Interestingly, below the LED flash, there is also a heart rate sensor.

In terms of design, the ZUK Edge measures 142.9 x 74.5 x 7.68mm and weighs 160 grams. The phone brings along better HiFi audio with the help of strong audiophile aspirations with a Dirac HD Sound. It also uses 3.5mm audio jack.

For the available connectivity options, there's 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE as well as USB Type-C.

Meanwhile the battery is just 3,100mAh and it supports Quick Charge 3.0. But i think it's not so impressive because the processors are very large 2X2.35 means double capable but we cannot use within 6 hours in 4g online and RAM also if 6 gb of ram at least battery should have been minimum of 4000+ to make it really cool.

Anyway, Lenovo ZUK Edge will be priced at $330 for the 4GB RAM version and $360 for the 6GB RAM version which is scheduled to hit the market on January 1, 2017. The available colors are Ceramic White and Titanium Black.

Lenovo Sacks 1,100 Employees

Lenovo has sacked about 1,100 employees which amounts to nearly 2% of the 55,000 employees on the company's payroll globally.

You can recall that Lenovo recently acquired famous mobile phone company popularly known as Motorola as part of the ongoing systematic integration between the two firms, they are taking some decisions which they think is in line to meet their target of being among the frontrunner in the smartphone industry.

But what is the main reason why workers were laid-off by Lenovo? Well, the company said they did it to cut on expenses and restructure the company to a more efficient firm.

About 230 positions will be reportedlylaid off from their headquarters in Morrisville.
